For the case of display monitors, there is a subtle difference between a very high refresh rate (e.g., 240/360 Hz) compared to the usual high refresh rates (e.g., 120 Hz).
This makes me wonder about iPhones. Will there be a possibility that future iPhones have even higher refresh rates?
Possibly ProMotion Plus or something like that, at 240 Hz or 360 Hz? The scrolling experience and motion on the phone would surely be much more fluid.
Extremely doubtful, as there is almost zero benefit to this. 120Hz is honestly already overkill since the difference between 90Hz and 120Hz on smartphones is barely noticeable.

120Hz is the minimum.
No, the marginal improvement won’t be worth the increased heat and battery drain.
This would not be an improvement and would not benefit you in any way. I can’t even imagine how hard you would have to try to scroll as fast as humanly possible to notice a difference.
