I hate it. I tap there because before iOS 18 it brought me right to my recent emojis, and now it brings me to the stupid memoji and stickers, which I will never use, and it’s frustrating. I just want to turn it off
Settings > General > Keyboard. Scroll to the bottom and turn off stickers.

Restarting your phone might fix it.
@Ozzie
I’ll try that. I opened a chat with Apple, and they said it’s an inbuilt feature and to submit a feedback ticket, so I did

I have that toggle off and the stickers are not on my keyboard. Apple Support is chatting out of its ass. Unless you’ve found some bug with your version of iOS, if you’re not up to date.
@Ozzie
Interesting. Is the memoji thing gone too for you, or just stickers? Or are they the same thing? I just want the recent emojis option to show.

Okay weird, I’m gonna try a restart and then see if I have any updates. Ty.

This works for me, thanks !!
They 100% put it there on purpose, so that people accidentally tap on it and they can show that it’s being used.

I hate them for that.
I don’t get those, only on Facebook Messenger. Is it a Facebook thing?

I only have them on iMessage, don’t have them in any other apps, which is why I’m confused.
