It would make things quicker for setting up alarms. Am I the only one who finds this annoying?
But why are you setting alarms weekly though?
You know what else it needs? A ‘skip next alarm’ button.

Right? It’s weird this isn’t a standard feature. You can kind of do it with the wake-up alarm, but it’s clunky. Tap edit, turn it off, confirm, etc.

Actually, you can do that from the lock screen for the wake-up alarm. Just tap and skip. It’s also possible with shortcuts.
@Zee
Yeah, but here’s why I don’t use it:
- I need multiple alarms. I usually set 5-6 alarms spaced out by 15 minutes.
- I sync my alarms with Home Assistant, but the wake-up alarm doesn’t sync. Or maybe I’m doing something wrong.
Can’t you just tell Siri to set up a repeating alarm for every day?

I could, but I like pressing buttons more than talking to Siri.

Wait, if you like pressing buttons, why are you complaining about pressing buttons then?
@Avery
Because I prefer optimized interfaces over pressing buttons!

Maybe you just need to embrace the joy of button-pressing more.
@Avery
Lol, so many downvotes for saying what we’re all thinking .
You know what would also be nice? An ‘every other weekend’ option.
I want an option for ‘Some day’ where it rings randomly.
It’s so annoying to have to manually tap each day every single time.
My old Galaxy S8 had this years ago. Why can’t iPhones?
You could just ask Siri to set a repeating alarm for weekdays or every day. Same goes for deleting alarms; it’s faster with Siri.
Why not save a recurring alarm and just edit the time as needed? Are your alarm times really changing every week?
This is the kind of thing Apple will probably push into next year’s update. Remember how long it took them to bring back T9 dialing?
Maybe you should try using Reminders instead.
