I keep seeing leaks (which I know aren’t always reliable) that it will launch around March or April, but when do Apple products usually get announced? Like a month before launch or something?
Hey, David Branson here from Apple Software Engineering. Well, not anymore, as of 2 days ago, but here’s the scoop: March 27, iPhone SE, HomePod Mini 2nd Gen (More boom, more room), iPad 11th Gen for $299, iOS 19 preview with the tagline ‘Unorthodox’, which is foreshadowing iPhone 17, 17 Air, 17 Pro, and 17 Flex.
@Denny

The M4 iPad is internally called the iPad Flex, by the way.

This is similar to the Razr—distinguished with a full aluminum polished body and no wireless charging support.
@Denny
Thanks for the info!
Some Apple products get announced a week before the launch, and others on the same day as the launch. I’d expect the next SE to launch in March or April.
You can easily Google when each iPhone was announced and released. Apple has a pretty strict release schedule…

Not for SE and some other models. Only the iPhone and maybe one other product have a more controlled release timing.
@Zinnia
Yeah, controlled in the sense of how and when they’re announced and how many days after for release. But sure, I’ll let other people search for a pattern instead of me.

Have you thought about the fact that in order for someone to look for this pattern, they first need to be aware it exists?

There is no 16e.
It’s all rumors, but some articles suggest the iPhone SE 4 could be released as the 16e.
