Been running it careless for almost a year. No regrets!
Oops… I meant caseless!
Maybe both?

Titanium is super hard to scratch. It’s tough to machine, so I doubt it’ll scratch easily. But does anyone know if the camera frame around the lens is titanium too?
My old iPhone 13 got scratches on the charging port and camera frame, even with a case. Stainless steel and aluminum always end up with marks.
@Chen
Nope, only the sides are titanium.
Same here! Been using my 15 Pro Max in Natural Titanium without a case since January 2024. No scratches, no dents, nothing. Even bumped it into stuff a few times and still looks perfect.
Mine’s been caseless from day one. Still looks brand new. I got white.
Same with my 12 Pro Max, but I’ve always kept it in a case.
I usually use a thin case so I can still feel the phone, but I somehow got a tiny scratch on the blue titanium back. No idea how it happened, but now I can’t unsee it. Had to put a case on it.
Here’s a picture.
Dropped my blue one on concrete a few times, and the paint chipped in some spots.

A haiku for your loss:
My blue one has dropped
Few times onto concrete and
Paint has chipped off partly
There’s not much titanium on the phone. Just around the edges.
People keep saying it’s a full titanium frame, but that’s not really true. Titanium is expensive. If the whole frame were pure titanium, the phone would cost $500–$800 more. It’s mostly stainless steel with a thin titanium layer.
