I mean it’s a swipe, which is basically a slide, which was also basically a swipe. Did we ever really have slide to unlock? Has it always been swipe!? What is life?

I mean, just say what you mean. You want to swipe left to right rather than up.

I know many people like to have options to customize everything, and Apple definitely needs more of that, but I’m struggling to see the point of this one in particular.

Can someone enlighten me on why this is supposedly better than swiping up, which we currently have and which conveniently doesn’t want me to swipe from the left of my quite wide phone screen?

So, people have opinions and this is just a single individual expressing his.

My own is that it’s not needed, but oh well, live and let live I guess
