I’m getting phantom notifications, but I have no notification at all. No mail or anything. It started about 2 weeks ago. I have the latest iOS.
Is it a bug? Anyone else experienced it?
I feel like I’ve also been getting that. Can’t say for certain it’s not something inside one of the apps I use. But yeah, definitely had that experience recently.

It’s so annoying. I have no new apps, and I didn’t change any notification settings, so idk what’s going on.

Happens to me with Signal quite a bit. To the point that I have to compulsively check Signal to make sure I don’t miss a message.
Been experiencing it since I had my 12 Pro lol, I just brush it off now.
I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ve been experiencing this since iOS 17 as well. I assumed it was Find My pinging or something.
Is it possible you have an app that is sending notifications but not banner notifications? Just the alerts.

No, I didn’t touch my notifications. And I have no new notifications in the apps either. I suspect it’s an iOS bug and I hope they fix it with the next update.
Do you have Yik Yak or Pokémon Go on your phone? I found these 2 apps were the culprits.
