iPhone 16 not showing beta options... what do I do?

Got it, that makes sense.

Exactly. Beta updates are labeled 18.1 beta 1, 2, 3, etc., while the official version is just 18.1. I was seeing the official version because I’ve been on the beta, so I thought it was already out for everyone.

@Fox
This is the Release Candidate (RC) version, which shows as iOS 18.1 because it’s likely the final version that will go public next week. There’s always a short gap for last-minute issues. But yeah, this version is still technically a beta, even though it’s basically the final version.

Are you sure you’re even on the beta? Sounds like you’re not.

There’s no ‘beta team.’ Anyone can sign up for public beta access. But based on your screenshot, you haven’t enrolled yet.

@Peyton
Yeah, that’s what I meant. I just couldn’t word it right. My bad, working on my English.

No worries! I was just clarifying. I saw someone here a while ago claim you needed to work for Apple to join the beta, so I wasn’t sure if you meant the same thing.

@Peyton
Haha, yeah, people often misunderstand what beta testing is really about. Anyone can join.
