Hey everyone, please if someone can help me answer this I would be forever grateful. I deleted Bumble from my phone and deleted my account on Bumble. I did this after falling in love with my girlfriend who I met on Bumble. I’m a loyal and honest man, and I sent her a screenshot of my phone. Somehow Bumble showed up in the top left corner, so it looked like I was still on Bumble. The next screenshot I sent her a minute later didn’t show it anymore. I thought it was a glitch, but she is convinced I’m lying because she has been lied to and cheated on in the past. I’ve tried everything I can to show her I’m not lying and would do anything to prove it because she is a great woman, and I hate that she feels like this. Please, if there is some technical explanation for how this can happen so I can put her mind at ease, I would be so grateful.
Post the screenshot.

I just posted it. I took a screenshot to show her my battery was almost dead, and Bumble shows in the top left. But I don’t have an account anymore—I deleted my account and the app from my phone.

Is there some way this could be a technical glitch? I haven’t downloaded the most recent update on my phone, and I had a paid account with Bumble. Maybe it didn’t fully delete from my phone? I’m not good with technology, but I’ve been online for hours trying to find an answer so I can ease her mind.
The screenshot indicates that you clicked over to WhatsApp from Bumble, implying that Bumble is still installed. This is obviously the most likely situation (e.g., you didn’t delete the app from your phone). Maybe you only removed the app from the home screen by accident. When you go to delete an app, you are given these two choices, and as a novice user, this choice screen can be confusing.
If Bumble is, in fact, deleted, then it’s a glitch, but likely not very common. Perhaps you previously clicked over to WhatsApp from Bumble but deleted the app since you last used WhatsApp, so the back link still shows? One could test this out, but it does imply that you deleted Bumble relatively recently or don’t use WhatsApp that much.
Or another unknown/less common bug?
@Jordan
I deleted Bumble and my account on Bumble in front of her a few days ago, so I’m so confused how this could happen. I checked my phone, and it’s not on my Home Screen either. She deleted hers as well. We did this together just so we both could see we are not on the app anymore, and then this happens. I was really hoping there were other people that have experienced this before so I could show her.
