After being an Android fanboy ever since my first smartphone (aside from a Nokia Lumia), I have been using Android my whole life. I’ve exclusively used Sony phones for the past seven years, but it’s time for me to move on.
Wait till you get a Mac to go along with the phone. It’ll be mind-blowing.

I have both a MacBook and an iPhone, but it never blew my mind. There’s some good syncing, but nothing crazy. Am I missing something?

I play way too many games to justify getting a Mac… for now.

If you need a laptop, a MacBook is the best value on the market IMO—performance, battery, build quality (plastic Windows laptops fall apart easily), and it holds value.
PC for games, of course.
@Noor
I currently use an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 since I do SolidWorks on the go quite often. While the build quality isn’t on par with a MacBook, it’s still nice nonetheless.
@Noor
Nope… MacBook compatibility is absolutely horrible until they make a solid way to emulate Windows without flaws. I need to run car diagnostic tools and other programs, so for me, it’s useless.

I’d say wasting lots of time gaming isn’t really justifying fun. Mac is called ‘Pro’ for a reason.
@Wei
Well, I’d still have to find a workaround to use SolidWorks, which is a professional software.

Understood. What I meant is that it’s better to use something like a PS5 with a huge screen projected with real 4K DLP, like Sony, and use the Mac solely for work. I think they make Macs purposefully anti-gaming. I love Fortnite and FIFA, and I’m a 38-year-old ex-CS player. I get your point.
I did the same and have been enjoying it a lot. There are some things I still don’t fully understand, but I guess it takes time to learn.

Use the Tips app. It’s grossly underused. Besides tips, it has the entire user guide in it.
@Palmer
I second this! The Tips app is amazing. I’m an Apple nerd and still learn new things from it.
@Palmer
Thanks for the info! While I’m at it, I have a few questions. How do I get predictive text in every app? It only shows in some of them. (By predictive text, I mean the words that appear above the keyboard that I can pick from.) Also, is there a way to make my display more vibrant? I just switched from a Samsung, and the iPhone display seems a bit dull.
@Brennan
Search ‘display’ in the Tips app. You’ll find the answer in the user guide. I’d rather help you help yourself than just give you the answer.

I don’t understand… why do I have predictive text in some apps but not others? It’s very weird. Does it learn over time? I think it does, because as I type, new words appear, and I can save them for future use.

Looks like a Peak Design case.

It’s the Peak Design Everyday Case. It’s grippy enough for me, but it might not be for you. The reason I got it is the SlimLink system—I 3D-printed a ton of accessories that use the square hole to securely hold the phone.
Did you go for the Pro Max or the regular Pro?

Just the Pro. The Pro Max is too big for me.
