Hello! This has now happened a couple times where we wake up to my friend receiving a bunch of “join FaceTime call” notifications from me in the middle of the night. There are no outgoing calls on my end. Any idea what this could be?
Potential relevant details: last night we did FaceTime using our iPhones right before I went to bed, but my laptop was near me, and the incoming FaceTime call rang on my laptop as well as my phone. Not sure if that has something to do with it?
Your laptop is not recognizing the call ending. Next time you try this, have your laptop awake and end the call while your laptop is on, and you won’t have this issue. I also had this problem a couple exes ago.

Same happened to my girlfriend receiving a WhatsApp call from me when I turned off my computer (WhatsApp desktop).
Looks like your friend’s iOS version is quite old. That style of notifications hasn’t been used since iOS 14…

Yes, he is notorious for not updating his phone lol. Does that impact this?

OP, I think 4:19 AM is a little too early to be waking up your friend. At least wait till around 8 AM.
