Should I just wait until I’ve cracked it to replace or do it now? I’m on a plan but didn’t buy AppleCare, idk if I can add AppleCare to the plan now? I bought this phone like two months ago lol
@Blair
I think you can add it up to two months, check in settings if you have the option to

I just searched AppleCare in settings
@Blair
It’s been over two months, then you can’t add it. I got my 16 Pro a month ago, it says I have 30 days left to add it.

Replace the screen or replace the phone (downgrade)

Wouldn’t another phone be more expensive than replacing the screen? I’ve already got another phone an iPhone 11 Pro tbh I acc prefer it more than this 16😢
@Blair
Best option is to replace the screen and it will be an expensive repair. Just get it done from Apple itself.

Yeah I’ll have to do that
It looks like that because the screen is damaged. You may try doing a restart, but there is a high chance that it won’t fix the issue. Broken hardware won’t just magically fix itself, so get it repaired. Also, your screen is OLED, not LCD.
@Marin
HAHHAHAHA lol thank you for clearing up what my screen is I’m completely oblivious to technology as u can clearly tell
@Marin
Do you think 500$ to repair this phone screen is too much?

Though it’s expensive, that’s unfortunately pretty much your only safe option.
