I really hope all case makers start adding capacitive buttons like the ones from Apple. The hole designs are just not working.

I ordered the Spigen clear case with their capacitive cover. If it works out, that’s awesome. If not, I’m not too bothered since I don’t care much about the camera control anyway.

The Apple ones work perfectly. I’m pretty sure third-party manufacturers will figure it out eventually.
@Kelley
The Spigen case works great!

Is there one available for the plain iPhone 16?
I brought this up with Torro; it’s a weak point around the camera control area. It usually happens if you take the case off from the bottom. In the future, try removing it from the side or the top.
My Otterbox kinda came ‘pre-broken.’ They just didn’t fit the top edge around the button area. I actually prefer it this way because of what happened to the person who posted this.
I broke my AliExpress leather case the same way too.
I was hesitant to buy this case before, even with the multiple discounts they offered. Now, I’m definitely avoiding it.
Had a similar issue with a nice leather case. Didn’t break it, but it was bent and couldn’t bend back. I got a new one that didn’t have that part and it feels great. The camera button is also easier to use now.
This happened to me the other day. I guess that’s what I get for trying to clean out some debris on my phone. I can’t believe Apple.
