Apple Intelligence Difference

Has anyone used Apple Intelligence and found it made things significantly more efficient?

I find the notifications summary sometimes useful.

I’m currently using the ChatGPT app and also a paid version of MS Copilot.

What’s the benefit of having a paid version of Copilot?

Is it about being able to use M365 documents? Or is it actually better than ChatGPT Plus?

Not sure what it’s like outside of work, but MS Copilot is the best AI tool I’ve used yet (I don’t use many). And yes, its ability to read documents (including PDFs and web) is pretty legit.

I don’t like the new Siri animation very much, and the one time I used the writing tools, it got what I said wrong. I told my wife the package I was waiting on would be delivered by 1pm; I used the writing tools to make that sound professional, and it said 1pm was the earliest the package would be delivered.

Basically, if Apple Intelligence is the driving reason you want to upgrade to a new phone, I wouldn’t. It’s not that great.

The only thing I’ve tried so far was the Siri upgrade. I don’t know if I was asking the wrong questions or if it was just buggy, but Siri hasn’t been much different so far (other than no longer having the bubble).

I’m guessing the current version is just the foundation of something much bigger.

@Dru
The new Siri isn’t out until version 18.4.

Only the UI is updated as of now.

That explains why it wasn’t that great.

Aha - makes sense.

I told Siri to call Mom, and it called my friend’s mom (whose contact I had saved as Jake School Mom).

So much for upgrades, Apple!
