My dad can use ‘precision finding’ to find my phone, but I can’t use it.
It gives me this pop-up.
And I’ve checked on his and my phone—everything that I could find related to precision finding is switched on.

No, I have a 16 Pro Max and Dad has a 15 Plus.
Both US models? Or did you buy a phone overseas?

No, both the phones were bought in India.

If you have AppleCare, I’d take it in and check the U1 (Ultra Wideband) chip. That’s what allows the phone to do precision finding.
