After using a Samsung Fold 6 and S24 Ultra, I switched back to a new iPhone 16 Pro Max. Being on ‘the other side’ wasn’t bad at all, I got used to the OS, but something was missing. And oh my… it feels like coming home, somehow this feels much better!
After 12 years on Android, I needed a more complete experience. My partner surprised me with a 16 Pro Max on Monday, and I can’t wait to get home on Friday to set it up!
I switched to Samsung with the S22+ then the S24 Ultra. Their customer service was terrible, and I had enough. Decent phones, but not worth the hassle when something goes wrong. Tried the Pixel for a bit, but then went back to an iPhone. Samsung’s hardware and software are good, but they just can’t compete with Apple when it comes to customer service and the smooth ecosystem.

I’m curious, what challenges did you face that made customer service more important than the phone itself?

Samsung is known for bad repairs and warranty service. They also make returns and trades difficult, and most repairs in the US are handled by third parties.
@Oak
Wow, so are you saying your Samsung phone broke down that often?
Same here! Switched to the Fold 6 in July. Loved the hardware and form factor, but the software made me switch back just a few days ago. It’s hard to leave!
After more than 15 years of Android, I switched to iPhone in December 2024. Love it! The whole ecosystem just works!
Welcome back, my friend! We were waiting for you
I switched from the Pixel 8 Pro three days ago. I got the Desert Titanium model.
I switched to Samsung after the iPhone 7. Just came back with the 16 Pro. There are pros and cons to both, but so far I’m really impressed with this iPhone.
I like that with AppleCare, I can just walk into an Apple store and have them fix my phone. Other brands make you send it off for repairs. Apple just has better customer service.
